SHAKESPEARE AND HIS MOST FAMOUS PLAYS

Do you know much about Shakespeare?

What do you know about his life?  How many plays did he write?

CLICK HERE  and watch a video about his life and some of his most famous plays.

Now watch  videos of three of his most famous plays .

Probably, the most famous one is Romeo and Juliet .
You know the story, don´t you? It tells the story of two families who lived in Verona, Italy. They were enemies and would not stop fighting.
But ..do you remember their names?

CLICK HERE and watch the video.

Another one of his famous palys takes place in Scotland. It tells the story of a very ambitious man called Macbeth.

Three witches tell Macbeth about his future. Do you know what they tell him ?

CLICK HERE and watch the video.

The third play we want you to know about is called Hamlet.  Who is Hamlet?

Is he crazy or is he pretending? Whose ghost does he see at the beginning of the play?

EXCHANGE WITH THE RGS WORCESTER

One more year, our students travelled to England last March on an exchange with the RGS Worcester.

There, our 16 students experienced a wide range of visits to Oxford, London and Birmingham.  The British host families really made our students  feel at home and organized exciting weekend activities for them , which everyone enjoyed.

Time flies and last Tuesday we had to say goodbye to our English partners, who visited us from the 5th to the 12th April. We were really glad to welcome our English partners from Worcester in our ninth year working together.

The English students  also enjoyed a week full of activities and visits. The weather was also quite nice, maybe a bit windy - you know what Zaragoza is like!

The Spanish families were ever so helpful and  made things really easy for the British children.

We are delighted that things went on so well. Actually, we know that quite a few students are planning to meet again during  the summer. Isn´t that brilliant?

Looking forward to the tenth anniversary next year !!
